The writers have spun quite a tale with an array of memorable characters, featuring history, heroism, romance, adventure. They are very heart centered people, and help create a wonderful container for this practice to be learned. I love how Steven and Julie work so close together to keep their romance and love alive Forbidden Fruit. They capture the feelings children and adolescents have as they meet the world. (Interesting here is a reference to the Flynn effect. I don't claim to know why that is so, yet I can hazard a guess with the best of themit's because we are all different. In a genre frequently and sadly known for delivering more of the same old familiar stuff, Think of a Number stands out as original and exciting Forbidden Fruit. Ellie and Max were likeable main characters; however, I would've appreciated a bit more character development. Brief chapter for a wonderful bedtime story for a new generation of young readers.
