Like I said at the start of this review this is probably my least favorite Sarah Pinborugh novel that I have read so far, that is not a insult by any means Rampolli. Hint to the editor, who should appear in the stocks beside the author: In November 1940, with France occupied by Nazi Germany and invasion seeming imminent, theatrical companies were not lending one another players across the English Channel, nor did families pay calls. This novel is a murder mystery that involves teens, social media and bullying. I almost felt sorry for Hitler and definitely felt sorry for the German army who had to carry out his orders. In this second Odelia Grey mystery (following Too Big to Miss: An Odelia Grey Mystery ), Odelia gets caught up in the chaos caused when a valuable collectable lunch box goes missing. I may get a paper copy as I think it would be easier reference format. 5654.676.112 In fact, it made me appreciate all the more the fascinating history of our county, everything from the Russians at Fort Ross, the local fishing industry, the filming of The Birds (Alfred Hitchcock thriller), and the Russian River community Rampolli. The author, Pnina Moed Kass, takes her audience into the heads of everyone involved in the conflict including the young victims, the young suicide bombers, and the loved ones of those who are caught up in the bomb explosion. The reason I say this is because the show and the actresses have spoiled me. The first eight chapters of this history are dedicated to the all-important task of laying the groundwork for an understanding of the events and ideas that led to this tragic conflict.
